One Feather Wellness

I’d always been open to ideas and theories of the universe – astrology, meditation, the law of attraction were all topics that I felt drawn to learn more about.  But, being a Midwestern mom and wife I was also incredibly entrenched in “reality”.  Most people in my circle thought those ideas were for hippies and people not in touch with reality.

I believe there’s something to them.  I know from experience that the elements of nature are healing.  Ask anyone who unplugs and spends some time in nature – hiking, walking, or on the lake – it’s peaceful, calming and healing.  When I’m kayaking at our cabin, or walking in the woods I feel like nothing can touch me.  It’s incredibly   In today’s society we are less in touch with these modalities than ever.

In 2018 I embarked upon a new phase of my spiritual journey.  I visited a holistic healer for the first time ever.  An intuitive and medium, she told me about my past lives, thoughts and emotions that are holding me back, and called in my spirit guides for help.  One particular spirit guide made his presence known.  A Native American just a little bit older than me, his name was One Feather.  She said he was funny, stoic and a bit mischievous.  Immediately he sounded like someone I’d get along with.

This blog is my mission to reclaim some of that peace, serenity and wellness all while living a 21st century life.
